If you reinstall it, copy the directory over to another folder on your desktop or something before launching the game. It is FAR faster to 'install' a clean copy from your own Harddrive than it would be to redownload it. When you want to play, go into steamapps folder, common, Divinity folder, delete, copy your 'backup Vanilla version' and paste it in the common folder and launch.
